The NewRomanStone 850 gallon concrete tank is unique and flexible for all of your wine making stages: punch downs, fermentation, blending and racking. Wide, smooth inner corner radii, a large bottom drain and an open top with floating lid make crush and cleaning a cinch!

By creating a lower cost concrete tank we intend to give access to all winemakers, and we've worked diligently to lower costs and pass the saving on to you by removing frivolous features and materials while retaining the core value of making wine in a natural concrete container.

100% ROMAN CONCRETE BLEND.
NewRomanStone concrete tanks are made from 100% natural materials, just like the Roman's used to make wine over 2000 years ago. No artificial additives or chemicals are used in the construction or structure of any of our products. We put great effort into finding real volcanic ash and we even discovered an ancient ash deposit from Mt Lassen in Northern California in our search.
We combine this raw ash with pure calcium oxide that we derive in-house from crushed seashells (calcium carbonate). We mix with pure spring water to create a pure, unaltered blend of natural materials that will resist nature, wine and the test of time.
Even our mold release agents are comprised of pure coconut oil and bees wax so NewRomanStone concrete tanks will not alter, contaminate or leech into your spectacular wines. And they'll likely be around and in use long after we're gone :)
